Our second fragrance collaboration with the Brooklyn Museum, following Hiroshige. Part of an immersive scent installation for Monet & Venice, on view October 11, 2025–February 1, 2026.
L'enveloppe smells like mineral water over stone—chalky, luminous, barely there. The space between viewer and subject, rendered in mist. Bergamot skin, crushed stems, powdered iris. What Monet called the atmosphere between him and the motif: not the thing itself, but the light and air that held it.
Fragrance Notes:
Top Notes: bergamot skin, violette des bois and mineral water
Heart: narcissus, jasmine petals, clover, cyclamen and crushed stems
Drydown: powdered iris and xylem sap
