Ink on skin, scent in the air—both leave an imprint, shaping memory and presence. Founded by Eva Karabudak, Atelier Eva is built on precision, where every tattoo is a study in restraint and intention. Nothing is accidental, nothing is wasted.

Translating this philosophy into scent required a fragrance that reflected the same clarity and depth as her designs. Just as ink settles into skin, shaping identity over time, the fragrance had to shift and evolve—never static, always revealing something new. Every note had to serve a purpose, mirroring the restraint and clarity that define her work.

Cedar leaf provides a crisp, steady foundation, echoing the precise linework that characterizes her artistry. "Rich, warm, cozy and elegant at once—hug-like," says Joya founder Frederick Bouchardy, describing the fragrance’s refined presence. Coconut milk smooths the edges, lending a quiet warmth. The balance between them creates a fragrance that shapes space without demanding attention, felt rather than noticed.

Our creative connection with Eva extends beyond product. We atomized this same fragrance throughout their space to enhance the experience. And at our Clinton Hill studio "Farewell" Party on August 25th, 2023, we invited her to bring her artistry into an immersive experience. The brilliant RK of Atelier Eva offered stick and poke flash tattoos, inspired by Kevin Emerson's sketches for the event’s theme: modern medieval disco.
