Joya x Brooklyn Museum - Monet & Venice “Acqua Alta” Freshener
Our second fragrance collaboration with the Brooklyn Museum, following Hiroshige. Part of an immersive scent installation for Monet & Venice, on view October 11, 2025–February 1, 2026.
Acqua Alta evokes Venice at high tide—salt water meeting stone, marine fog dissolving architecture. Rhubarb and fennel drift through sea currents, while ambrette seed and vetiver ground the composition in something ancient, mineral. The city reflected and refracted, as Monet saw it: not solid form but liquid impression, the palazzos floating like memories on the lagoon.
Fragrance Notes:
Top Notes: rhubarb, fennel, fig and hyacinth leaves, tides and sea currents
Heart: tearose, plum, almond and green banana
Drydown: ambrette seed, boxwood, incense, galbanum, labdanum, vetiver and orris roots
